J. Matthew Ashley

J. Matthew Ashley is Associate Professor of Systematic Theology and the University of Notre Dame. 

He received his BS in philosophy and physics from St. Louis University and his PhD in theology from the University of Chicago in 1993. Ashley’s work focuses on the history of christianity, science and theology, political and liberation theology and Christian spirituality. He has published articles in journals including HorizonsSpiritus: A Journal of Christian Spirituality and Theological Studies.
