Bahador Bahrami is a Senior Scientist and Director of Crowd Cognition Lab in Department of Psychology at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Germany and Professor of Social Neuroscience at Department of Psychology at Royal Holloway University of London.
Before coming to Munich, he spent a year in Berlin as a visiting Humboldt Fellow at the Centre for Adaptive Rationality (ARC) at Max Planck Institute for Human Development. His background combines medicine with cognitive neuroscience leading to a research program to look at how humans interact socially with one another and with autonomous AI.
Bahrami has done consultancies for Majestic Wine helping them develop marketing strategies based on collective decision making and social interaction. He has been supported by a number of prestigious research bodies including European Research Council (ERC), British Academy and Danish National Research Foundation. His research was featured in World Economic Forum in Davos in 2017.
