Christopher R. Brewer is the President of Theoventure, and an Honorary Research Fellow in the School of Divinity, University of St Andrews.
Dr. Brewer received his Ph.D. in Divinity from the University of St. Andrews with a thesis on natural theology and the arts. He is the editor or co-editor of six volumes, and has published numerous essays on the Anglican theologians Howard E. Root and David Brown, the Irish Catholic philosopher William Desmond, and the contemporary American artist Jonathan Borofsky. He is the Principal Advisor for Templeton Religion Trust’s Art Seeking Understanding program strategy, and is developing a new program initiative for Progress in Theology.
