After nearly two decades dedicated primarily to university management and administration—most recently serving as Dean of the Tilburg School of Catholic Theology—Marcel is now relishing the opportunity to refocus on teaching and research.

With a background in analytical philosophy and over 25 years of experience working in ecumenical settings, he brings a wealth of insight to his current work in fundamental theology and dogmatics. In addition to his research, Marcel is committed to passing on his knowledge to a new generation of students through his teaching.
