Congratulations to Manil Suri whose book, The Big Bang of Numbers: How to Build the Universe Using Only Math, was just shortlisted for the 2023 PEN/E.O. Wilson Literary Science Writing Award.

This is the first and only time in the award’s history that a mathematics book has been nominated, and we’re thrilled that honor has been bestowed upon one of our contributors.
