What to make of an expanding universe? For one thing, roll the ‘movie’ in reverse and we have all the matter concentrated in what seems to be a single point, which seems to be impossible. Roll the ‘movie’ forward into the far future, and we have dispersion into apparent emptiness. In both directions we find nothingness. Is this reality?
